* Forensic Science SA (FSSA) provides a comprehensive, coordinated range of services to agencies associated with the justice system including the State Coroner, South Australia Police (SAPOL), the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) and defence and civil litigants.
* We are part of the Attorney General's Department and the Director, FSSA reports to the Executive Director Finance, People and Performance. Within FSSA there arefourscientific/medico-legal operational areas: Pathology, Chemistry, BiologyandToxicology,eachanalysing materials usinga diverse range of scientific equipment andprocesses.
* The operational areas are supported byAdministration,Information Technology and Projects, Science Supportand Quality, who each provide underpinning services in support of the operational areas.
