Townsville GP Superclinic is seeking full time or part time General Practitioners to join their friendly team in a well-established privately owned practice in Hyde Park, Townsville.

The Townsville GP Superclinic offers caring, accessible and professional health services to patients in the local community. Doctors can expect a harmonious working environment and the highest level of ongoing clinic support. Full time, part time GP positions or extra sessions available, even if you are a local Doctor looking for some extra hours.
About The Position
* Solid remuneration, percentage based.
* As a General Practitioner you will have a wide scope of practice and you can choose to work in your area of special interest.
* Fully booked from day one.
* Diverse range of general presentations - Skin Checks, Chronic Disease Management, Preventative Health, Women's Health, Medicals, Occupational Health, Indigenous Health and so on.
* Practice is well equipped and has highly qualified reception and nursing support, including care plan and women's health nurses.
* Doctors enjoy great peer support and share and develop knowledge and skills within a friendly collegiate environment.
* Pharmacy and Pathology onsite.
Qualifications and Experience:
* MBBS or equivalent
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Minimum of 2 years experience in General Practice.
* GP Registrars on training programs with RACGP and ACCRM most welcome
* Unable to provide Level 1 supervision at this time
The Townsville GP Superclinic is a modern, well-equipped practice with an amazing and dedicated administration and nursing team.
* A long established, extremely busy, privately-owned practice.
* We bulk bill to Medicare card holders, though strong Private, WorkCover, Pre-employment and Dive Medical bookings
* We have a significant regular/appointed patient base as well as a high walk-in demographic, having a full book on your first day of work
* Open 7 days a week, excluding public holidays
* Townsville is DPA / MMM2 location eligible
Practice Details
The Townsville GP Superclinic is a purpose built facility with large consultation rooms, treatment rooms and Nurses Station and a welcoming reception and waiting room. It is on a busy main road, convenient to public transport, with a strong existing patient base, regular and appointed patients as well as a high walk in demographic when we have available appointments. New GPs will walk into a full and busy schedule from day one. The Practice has varied and interesting medicine including pre-employment medicals, WorkCover, tropical medicine, dive medicals, immunisations / vaccinations, family medicine, men's and women's health, skin checks etc.
