Clinical Midwife - Caseload
Working with Ingham Health Service, you’ll be contributing to a key regional healthcare facility offering emergency, maternity, pharmacy, allied health, and inpatient services.
In this position you will provide primary midwifery care as part of a low-risk model, in collaboration with other health care providers, across the continuum of pregnancy, labour, birth and the post-partum period. Care will be provided within the Ingham Health Service and in the community and in collaboration with Townsville University Hospital as required.

Location: Midwifery Group Practice, Ingham
A Bachelor of Midwifery/Diploma of Midwifery or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
The successful candidate will be required to complete mandatory competencies including the Extended Practice Authority for Midwives, Examination of the Newborn package, and the Water Immersion in Labour package, within three months of commencement.

The Nurse Educator (Staff Development Officer) is accountable for developing, implementing, and evaluating a range of staff development, education, and training activities with an emphasis on the training of Indigenous Health Workers, Operational and Administrative Officers, assisting with mandatory training requirements for Joyce Palmer Health Service and clinical competencies for all staff.
