Work, Health & Safety (WHS), works with the business and the Bank’s partners to develop, implement, and support Safety solutions for the Group.
These two key functions are grouped into one team within People and Culture.
About the role
We have a permanent opportunity for a Team Coordinator to join the function in a dynamic support role.
You will provide business support to the Head of Employee Relations and Workplace Safety and assist across the team to coordinate key activities.
No two days will be the same as you seamlessly manage and plan day to day workflow, juggle multiple competing priorities, adapt to changing needs, and jump in to assist with ad-hoc tasks as required.
You’ll bring your expertise with diary and inbox management, travel arrangements, project coordination, and administrative tasks to assist the team to be productive and highly organised.
In return you’ll gain exposure to a broad group of stakeholders to build strong relationships with and develop your knowledge and experience in the Employee Relations and Workplace Safety space.

Ideally this role will be based in one of our main office locations in Melbourne, Bendigo, or Adelaide for the two days per week that you’re in the office, noting that hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today.

**As the Team Coordinator you’ll get to**:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the two teams by ensuring support is of a high standard and confidentiality is never breached
Coordinate meetings for the broader Employee Relations and Workplace safety team (book meeting rooms/video conference and Teams when required)
Coordinate information for various meetings and ensure minutes (when required) and support papers are distributed within a reasonable timeframe
Assist in the creation of agendas and presentations
Organise travel/accommodation when required
Prepare and submit expense claims/invoices
Produce and distribute accurate documents while maintaining and ensuring a professional corporate approach
Maintain files and records in an organised and up to date filing system, ensuring quick and easy retrieval, uploading documents to Share
Point as required
Attend to the administrative aspects of onboarding and offboarding staff members as required
About you
**To be successful in the role, you'll have**:
Demonstrated previous experience in a team coordinator role, ideally with an interest in the Employee Relations and/or Workplace Safety field
Strong planning, coordination, organisation, and time management skills to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Proven experience in a customer service orientated, fast paced, hybrid work environment across multiple locations
Experience preparing documents including agendas, action items, and Power
Points packs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop sound working relationships with stakeholders, communicating tactfully and effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to maintain composure under pressure and an appreciation that you are privy to highly sensitive and confidential information
The ability to maintain high levels of productivity with limited direction, taking initiative, and being proactive
High competency across the Microsoft Office suite
Experience managing budgets/expenses is desirable
