Sales Administrator - Engineering

. The position is full-time and hybrid, a mix of working from home and working at our North Sydney office.
This role supports our Sales and Business Development team and also interacts with our Project Management team and parts & service team of engineers. This role would suit an undergrad or graduate of engineering who has some work experience in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities
General sales administration tasks including quote preparation & management for our Large-Scale teams.
Acting as a local key/master user for Salesforce & SAP systems, to assist with pipeline management, quote preparation and maintenance of sales forecast.
Continuously improving knowledge in electrical engineering concepts and industry trends related to inverters and power electronics.
Collaborate closely with the engineering teams to assist with technical queries and contribute to improvements in the way of doing business.
Assist with research & analysis of the large scale solar & battery market and customer needs to identify potential customers, competitors and emerging trends.
Assist with general document formatting, control & administration. As well as developing better technical & commercial tools / documents to standardise responses to customers.

Experience & Skills
At least 2 years' experience in a CRM type software is essential
Experience in an administrative capacity is essential
Experience in and working knowledge of Salesforce or SAP preferred
Experience in a corporate working environment preferred
Advanced capability in MS Office software, particularly MS Word & MS Excel
General technical understanding related to full-time and conventional energy
Knowledge of the Australian Solar Energy industry would be beneficial
Excellent business communication in English, both written and verbal
A strong work ethic and self-driven approach
Comfortable with conducting research
Robust administrative skills
Demonstrate the focus and methodology to meet deadlines
Good social business skills
Qualifications
Preference for bachelor's degree in engineering or similar science / technical field
