Job Role:
Fenner Conveyors, a world leader in engineered conveyor solutions for the mining and industrial sectors, offers an exciting opportunity as a Trade Assistant.
You will be working alongside trade-qualified technicians in maintaining, servicing, repairing, and assembling conveyor components and systems.
This role presents the chance to undertake our Belt Splicing Traineeship Program, leading to a nationally recognized qualification.
* Mapped and marked splices under guidance
* Assisted on shutdowns with planned belt changes
* Belt Splicing and Installation of conveyor belts – fabric, ply, solid woven or steel-cord
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in mapping and marking out splices, participating in shutdowns with planned belt changes, and contributing to Belt Splicing and Installations of conveyor belts.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in conveyor maintenance and repair, working closely with experienced technicians.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
A nationally recognized qualification in a relevant trade would be advantageous, but not essential. The right attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn are key.
