We, Sydney Liberty Church (Formerly Siloam Presbyterian Church) was founded in 1991 with 11 members, with three church mottos: a church that makes disciples, a church that shares love, and a church that plants a vision.
With the completion of the construction of the church, our church has upgraded the Logos vision, which has been our vision so far, to a wider and more biblical level with 7 visions of a new era to move toward 2030, and to achieve the Liberty vision, namely Lay Leaders, Inter Cultural Missons, We started 2023 by declaring Bibical Doctrine, Evangelistic Outreach, Renew Families, Transforming Communities, and Young Generation Ministry. And we will focus on these newly declared 7 visions and move forward in the 2030s. With the mission of the new era given to our church in our hearts, our church is working to make it a happy community by opening a new era of more mature and expanded revival.
We are looking for a religious assistant who will support work together with our church, dreaming of this vision and ministry together.

General Responsibilities of the position
Focusing on Assist for overall church's ministry activities specially Praise & Worship Ministry ministry is support to minister/ senior pastor in all areas of church activities.
The position supports the church's worship and music ministries by directing the choir, coordinating multi-generational worship services, and assisting pastoral staff in delivering consistent, high-quality religious programs. The position also contributes to the spiritual development of congregation members across all age groups in our church.
The tasks and duties of the position
* Direct and conduct the church choir for regular Sunday services, special events, and seasonal worship programs.
* Prepare & participate, and assist for formal Sunday worship services and acknowledgements of faith.
* Plan, prepare, and lead choir rehearsals to ensure musical excellence and spiritual effectiveness.
* Oversee the overall music ministry across all age-based congregations, including children, youth, adults, and multicultural services.
* Select appropriate worship songs, choir pieces, and musical arrangements in alignment with the church's theology and worship direction.
* Collaborate closely with pastors and ministry leaders to coordinate music components within weekly services and special programs.
* Provide musical guidance and training to volunteer singers, musicians, and worship team members.
* Support and participate in prayer meetings, discipleship gatherings, and church mission events as required.
* Assist in organizing and executing church-wide worship events, concerts, outreach services, and seasonal celebrations (e.g., Easter, Christmas).
* Maintain musical equipment, sound resources, and rehearsal materials in an orderly and functional condition.
* Perform additional religious or administrative duties in support of the senior pastor and ministry teams when needed.
* Any ministry religious duties as instruction are given by the senior pastor/elders committee.
The Required Skills and Experience
* An attitude of working hard with faith even in difficult times.
* A heart that cares for believers with love.
* Experiences in the area of a Christian worship, the Bible study, and pastoral care.
* AQF II or III or at least 2 years of relevant experience.
