Finance Development Opportunity
This role offers a chance to join our team as a Finance Graduate and gain experience in various finance functions, including Credit Control, Stock Management, Weekly Reports, and Management Accounts.
As a Finance Graduate, you will be part of a rotation programme that includes studying for the CIMA professional qualification and attending a Leadership Development course with your fellow graduate cohort.
Key Responsibilities:
* Play a key role in the Credit Control function, helping the business manage its cash flow
* Organise the weekly and monthly stock takes, ensuring accuracy and improving processes
* Support the Health and Safety Officer and Buyer with PPE Vending Machine usage, monitoring stock levels and employee use
* Be responsible for key weekly reports to Senior Managers within the company
* Support with the month end process via the completion of reports such as the Aged Debtors report
* Work on project tasks primarily based around financial and system controls following the implementation of a new ERP system
* Gain an understanding of the Purchase Ledger function through a rotation programme and offer support and cover where needed
* Gain an understanding of the T&A system through a rotation programme and offer support and cover where needed
* Gain an understanding of the Buyers responsibilities through a rotation programme and offer support and cover where needed
* Assist with Year End Accounts and external audit by providing formatted data requested by auditors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to achieve team goals and objectives
* Proficiency in computer software, particularly Excel
* Familiarity with accounting concepts
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High attention to detail
* Desire to learn and improve personal and current processes
