Associates and Senior Associates - Audit
The opportunity
We are recruiting Audit professionals at the Associate and Senior Associate level to join our Audit team. Our Auditor opportunities are offered on a full-time basis in a high-performing workplace that supports inclusive behaviour, team member well-being, and flexible working. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll deliver trust and confidence in our clients' financial reporting by providing insights into accounting, financial sustainability, controls, processes, and strategic direction.
In our Canberra – Ngambri office, you will be part of a vibrant, close-knit team with strong support for your personal and professional development. We'll help you achieve your career goals with early responsibilities and ongoing support. We provide market-leading audit technology, tailored learning and development, and support for completing the Chartered Accountants Program.
Our clients include technology companies, government enterprises, power and utilities, real estate, construction sectors, an iconic Canberra sports team, and major defence industry companies supporting the Department of Defence.
This role is based in Canberra – Ngambri. Flexible working options are available; please discuss potential arrangements with us.
Your key responsibilities
- Leading fieldwork, managing client relationships, projects, coaching junior team members, and updating engagement leaders on progress and issues.
- Designing and executing audit processes considering risk issues and technical matters such as revenue recognition, fair value accounting, and long-term contracts.
- Engaging with client management, providing advice, and identifying areas for process improvement.
- Developing your understanding of market trends, sharing knowledge, and supporting junior colleagues. Understanding clients' business strategies and associated risks.

- Current Australian security clearance or the ability to obtain one. Australian citizenship is required for security clearance.
- Accounting degree or qualification.
- Experience leading audit planning, execution, and reporting.
- Curiosity about our team, clients, and business ecosystem.
- Proven ability to motivate teams and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
