About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Kwinana Pigment Plant. This role will oversee a team of skilled technicians and craftsmen, guiding them through daily tasks, troubleshooting challenges, and fostering a culture of excellence. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency across all mechanical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Development & Oversight

* Demonstrating and instilling an overriding commitment to health, safety and environment.

* Contribute to the planning process that enables production and processing optimisation, along with coordinating daily maintenance activities to ensure reliability of equipment and productivity of team.

* Setting and clearly communicating targets and expectations.

* Reviewing and monitoring maintenance performance on a daily and weekly basis, to ensure team performance is achieved.

* Overseeing, coaching and mentoring employees to deliver on plan and build a high performing team.

* Management of all site-based assets that fall in the Maintenance portfolio including deployments, Installations, spares, repairs and maintenance along with the required records and documentation to support compliance.

* Determine, propose, monitor and review work scopes for the Plant’s maintenance activities considering technical requirements and resourcing

* Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

* Assisting with monitoring of our contracting partners work activities.

* Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback, and implementing best practices to optimize processes and outcomes.

* Managing your team’s development and aligning them to meet business needs and our values.

About you:

To be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:

* Experience leading and mentoring teams and ability to provide leadership and development of team.

* Proven experience in a supervisory role in Mineral processing, Chemical processing or Oil and Gas.

* Systems knowledge of SAP, Standardised work, and Microsoft office advantageous

* Diploma in Frontline Management or formal leadership program advantageous

* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members towards common goals.

* Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, with a strategic mindset to drive operational excellence.

* Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards, with a commitment to upholding best practices.
