Due to continual growth we are looking to expand our amazing team and have the opportunity for an experienced, compassionate and engaging Male Disability Support Worker to join our team working with complex behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting and supporting with group activities and community outings
* Providing in-home and community-based respite support
* Supporting participants within our respite house facility
* Assisting with personal care, light domestic duties, meal preparation, and health & wellbeing activities
* Encouraging independence and development of life skills
* Delivering engaging, structured, and meaningful support, particularly in group environments
* Actively participating in activities, including weekly swimming sessions (must be comfortable in the pool)

About you:
* Experienced Male Support Worker (essential)
* experience with high complex behaviours (essential)
* Comfortable and confident in the water – happy to participate in regular swimming activities
* Demonstrated ability to engage participants and take initiative
* Patient, energetic, and able to support someone who thrives on active, hands-on engagement
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
* Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable
* A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Current and clear Working with Children Check
* Qualifications or experience highly desirable.
