BARISTA / ALL-ROUNDER — CANTEEN SORRENTO
Opening soon on Main Street, Sorrento
We're on the lookout for an experienced, fun, and charismatic barista/all-rounder to join our small team at Canteen Sorrento, a brand-new café opening soon in the heart of Main Street.
You'll be working in a close, fast-paced space with a tight crew who love good coffee, good food, and good vibes. We're not after rockstars or robots — just someone reliable, upbeat, and genuinely into hospitality.
What we're looking for:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy, specialty-coffee environment
* Confident behind the machine, consistent with milk and espresso
* Happy to jump in wherever needed — coffee, service, light prep/plating
* Works well in a small team and thrives under pressure
* Friendly, presentable, and enjoys a chat with locals and holidaymakers
* Availability over school holidays is essential
Pay & conditions:
* Paid under the Restaurant Industry Award (MA000119) — including penalties, loadings, and super
* Strictly no cash — payroll only, with payslips provided
* Casual to start, with an option to move into a permanent role
