Role Overview
Looking for a role where accuracy, structure and clear information flow really matter? If you're the type of Document Controller who enjoys "keeping things moving" and sees complexity as something interesting to be tackled, then this could be a perfect fit!
Supporting two Senior Document Controllers, you'll be helping us to manage engineering drawings for projects and assisting with document control for asset maintenance and upgrade activities. From remote community projects to network maintenance and modernisation, you'll contribute to a variety of major initiatives across the business.
We will guide and support you to become an expert in ProjectWise, which we use for storing and managing all Controlled Engineering Technical Documents, Drawings and relative Engineering Data.
Your Impact in the Role
* Controlling, capturing, registering and distributing project drawings and documents in ProjectWise.
* Working with engineers, project managers and panel vendors to ensure documentation meets Horizon Power's standards.
* Tracking overdue documentation, following up with reviewers to meet deadlines and maintaining up-to-date distribution matrices.
* Timely resolution of queries from teams and external vendors.
* Preparing documentation for operational handover and ensuring alignment with quality and procedural requirements.

* Confidence to communicate with and manage expectations of engineers, project managers, external vendors.
