We’re seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the Executive Leadership Team of one of Australia’s most recognised names in relocations and storage. With over 400 employees and contractors, a national footprint, and a diverse service portfolio, this is a rare opportunity to lead and scale operations that move people, businesses, and futures.
Why This Role?
As COO, you’ll be the operational architect of a national service network—driving excellence across logistics, fleet, warehousing, and freight. You’ll embed scalable systems, champion innovation, and empower a culture that puts safety, people, and customer experience at the centre of everything.
Ideally you will be based Reporting to the CEO and partnering closely with the Executive team, you’ll help shape our enterprise strategy and play a key role in transforming operations for long-term competitive advantage.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead all national service operations across removals, warehousing, fleet, and logistics
* Design & execute a future-ready operational strategy aligned to growth and market leadership
* Champion innovation through digitisation, automation, and data-driven decision-making
* Drive performance via best-in-class KPIs, cost optimisation, and workforce capability
* Collaborate cross-functionally to elevate customer experience, safety, and compliance
* Shape culture by leading with integrity, building strong teams, and developing resilient leaders
What We’re Looking For
* 10+ years in Executive operations leadership (logistics, transport, warehousing or similar)
* Proven success leading complex national or multi-site teams
* Strong commercial acumen and experience with budget and P&L accountability
* Change leader ideally with deep understanding of process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma)
* Strategic mindset, but hands-on when it counts
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics or related field (MBA desirable)
* ideally based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane
