Community Mental Health Clinician
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Community Mental Health Team based on a Temporary basis.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical mental health services to people with a mental illness or mental disorder. This includes assessments, interventions, and support to help individuals achieve their full potential and improve their quality of life.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, and eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body. You will also need to demonstrate skills in mental health and discipline-specific assessments and interventions, as well as experience working with people with mental illness.
In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will need to be able to communicate effectively with consumers and carers, and have a commitment to recovery principles in mental health service provision.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication, and good interpersonal skills. They will be computer-literate and have a current driver's license.
Employment as a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified.
