Promoter Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Promoter to join our team at Untitled Group. This is a critical role that requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and logistical expertise.
As a Promoter, you will be responsible for driving the execution of our touring strategy, collaborating closely with artists, and ensuring all aspects of live touring are operating efficiently, seamlessly, and effectively to consistently deliver an exceptional live touring experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and negotiate with top-tier artists for touring strategies and Untitled Group events.
* Facilitate effective communications across touring operations and with other stakeholders.
* Develop strategies for arena and stadium touring for our roster of talent.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the industry.
* Monitor, manage, and report on budgets, finances, operations, and all other relevant matters.
* Monitor and ensure contractual and legal compliance across touring functions.
* Route tours and develop logistics in collaboration with the Managing Partner and other relevant parties.
* Identify and negotiate with agents, managers, and artists for Untitled Group events.
* Collaborate with our team to oversee all aspects of the talent buying process, including budget development and management, negotiation of artist deals, venue selection, ticket pricing, and marketing strategies.
* Optimize marketing strategies to promote events and increase ticket sales.
* Coordinate with the Operations team regarding logistics including sound, lighting, security, and other event requirements.
* Work alongside our Partnerships team to secure funding and support for events.
* Manage budgets and ensure events are financially successful leading to profitable outcomes.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities including venues and artists.
* Provide an excellent all-round experience for our artists, vendors, sponsors, and attendees.
* Develop and execute strategies to drive ticket sales, leveraging marketing, partnerships, and promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Evaluate event success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* Expertise in executing strategy and managing day-to-day operations with complex and ever-changing demands.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with artists, vendors, and stakeholders.
* Proven track record of successful touring and experience in concert promotion.
* Ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members and thrive in a collaborative environment.
* Skilled in negotiation and influencing, with the ability to navigate complex contracts and agreements.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
