Compassionate Support Worker
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and enhancing their overall quality of life.
About the Role
This rewarding role involves assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, domestic assistance, transportation, and medication reminders. You will work closely with our Care Manager to ensure that each client receives the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Provide domestic assistance with household chores and meal preparation
* Accompany clients on outings and provide transportation when necessary
* Remind clients to take their medications and assist with other daily living activities
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Community or Disability Services
* Satisfactory Australian National Police check
* Current or willing to obtain a first aid and CPR certificate
* Smart mobile phone
* Driver's licence and own reliable, presentable car
