Our rapidly expanding childcare business is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer/Manager to join our supportive Management team with a flat organisational structure. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and Chief Finance Officer. The Role We are looking for someone with experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulation, maintaining accurate employee records and calculating payroll taxes and superannuation. Key Responsibilities: * Process fortnightly payrolls for 1,100 permanent staff and up to 400 casual staff. * Maintain accurate leave balances and entitlements. * Calculate ordinary time earnings, Superannuation, Payroll tax and PAYG. * Monitor workers compensation claims and payments. * Prepare monthly reconciliations and recharges. * Respond to employee enquiries and FAQs.
