To ensure efficient and uninterrupted operation of all utility systems during the assigned shift, supporting continuous operations of the main plant by managing the Power Island, Cooling Systems, Water Treatment Units, Utility Gases, and Air Separation Units
Important Note: Required Onshore Candidates only (Currently residing in Australia)
Job responsibilities: Supervise and control the operations of:
- Power Island: Gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbine generators.
- Cooling Systems: Saltwater cooling tower, fresh water closed-loop system.
- Water Treatment Facilities: Desalination, demineralisation, polishing units, fire water system, waste water and sewage treatment (STP).
- Utility Gases: Instrument air systems, nitrogen reticulation, emergency instrument air compressors and dryers.
- Air Separation Unit (ASU): Oversee safe production and supply of gaseous oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical /mechanical/ petrochemical engineering, or equivalent
- Additional certifications in boilers, turbines, safety or process operations (preferred)
Experience:
years of experience in utilities plant operations (preferably with large-scale or integrated fertilizer/ chemical complexes)
- At least 5-7 years in a supervisory or shift leadership role
