About the Role
Based at our Colac depot, this role involves picking up and delivering products to and from customer sites. You will also be required to transport a variety of freight as operational needs require. This role involves local driving and does not involve long‐haul or interstate work. This is a full‐time, permanent position with consistent and ongoing work available.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate HC vehicles safely in accordance with road transport regulations
* Transport and deliver freight to customer locations on scheduled routes
* Conduct pre‐start and post‐trip vehicle inspections and report defects
* Load, unload, and secure freight as required, ensuring product integrity (including temperature‐sensitive goods where applicable)
* Complete all delivery documentation accurately and on time
* Plan and manage delivery routes to meet operational requirements
* Maintain a high standard of customer service and professional conduct
* Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, NHVR regulations, and company policies
Skills, Experience & Requirements
* Current HC licence (essential)
* Minimum 1–2 years' experience operating heavy or multi‐combination vehicles
* Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and road transport legislation
* Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Reliable, punctual, and safety‐focused approach

* Base salary of approximately $70,000 to $75,000 per annum (before superannuation), based on average hours worked. Additional earnings may be available through overtime, allowances, and other applicable entitlements.
