Job Description
The role of Stormwater Engineering Team Leader is a critical position responsible for providing strategic leadership and coordination of a high-performing team focused on delivering innovative stormwater solutions across the municipality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate a high-performing team of engineers focused on stormwater solutions across the municipality.
* Strategically manage flood mitigation, network capacity enhancement, and stormwater asset management projects.
* Monitor team performance, manage budgets, and deliver on strategic objectives.
* Cultivate strong relationships with internal colleagues, external stakeholders, and the community.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Registered Professional Engineer or on a pathway to registration with a minimum of a Washington Accord recognised accreditation that meets the requirement for registration.
* Experienced people leader able to develop and deliver against objectives and budgets and maintain focus across programs and projects.
* Excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to prepare succinct written reports.
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to engage across internal and external stakeholders.
