Your Job at Rijk Zwaan The Oceania cluster, including Australia and New Zealand, focuses on breeding support, production, product development, marketing, and sales.
The company is led by three Managing Directors, each responsible for different focus areas, overseeing 70 employees in Australia.
As Managing Director, you will monitor and control all financial, administrative, legal, HR, and IT issues, leading a team of four colleagues in Finance, HR, and IT.
With support from the global Rijk Zwaan head office and crop teams, you will develop business strategies to capitalize on opportunities in the dynamic vegetable seed market in Oceania, ensuring sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities Develop a five-year strategic plan, including sales targets, investments, and cost management, in collaboration with co-Managing Directors.
Lead the company jointly with two other Managing Directors.
Report directly to the Rijk Zwaan board based in the Netherlands.
Candidate Profile We seek a broad-minded leader with a strong interest in managing all aspects of a company, fostering Rijk Zwaan's unique culture, managing financial risks, and ensuring legal compliance.
You should possess excellent communication skills, trustworthiness, openness to feedback, and the ability to build bridges between people.

Additionally, your resume should include: An academic degree in Business Economics or Management Studies.
Over five to ten years of managerial experience.
