Limestone Coast Technical College: Shaping the Future of Technical Education in South Australia
Limestone Coast Technical College will be a visionary institution that aims to revolutionise technical education in South Australia. The State Government is investing in Technical Colleges that will set the standard for excellence in their design, learning environment and delivery of skills-based training for school-enrolled students.
Located in the Education, Training and Research precinct on Wireless Road, set to open in 2026, Limestone Coast Technical College will provide students with access to industry training on a part-time basis while staying enrolled in their home school. It will support not only public students from across the Limestone Coast Region, but will be open to students from the private school sector.
Limestone Coast Technical College will have short stay accommodation facilities on site and offer four industry programs for careers in Agri-tech (for careers in forestry, agriculture and manufacturing), Early Childhood and Education, Health and Social Support, and Multi-trades (for careers as plumbers, builders, electricians).

What you will do:
This position will focus on the delivery that allows students to fultil the requirements of the industry training programs delivered at the Technical College. The trainer is accountable to the Multi Trades Specialisation Lead for providing current and authentic industry learning activities and coaching that develop the skills and dispositions required by employers in the workplace.
- In collaboration with the Multi Trades Specialisation Lead to implement and evaluate the curriculum of the Indsutry Training Programs.
- Contribute to the planning, delivery and assessment of industry experiences, career planning, coaching and mentoring.
- Provide advice and assistance to support students with industry connections and opportunities in the workplace.
What you will need:
- Proven ability to establish sound and effective relationships and communication with staff, students, parents, and training providers to promote professional dialogue and a team-oriented working culture resulting in improved educational outcomes for students
- Proven ability to deliver approaches that foster student engagement and support learning growth
- Extensive successful experience working within your specific trade/professional area
