Service Administrator / Port Hedland / Part‐Time/ Temp to Perm / $35.00–$40.00 Per Hour / Flexible Working / Immediate Start
About the role:
Core Talent is partnering with a national engineering and services organisation to recruit an experienced part‐time Service Administrator for a temp‐to‐perm role based in Port Hedland. You'll play a key part in keeping the service department running smoothly, supporting daily operations and acting as a central coordination point within a fast‐paced, close‐knit team. This role offers stability, flexibility and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day‐to‐day administrative support across the service department
* Act as the first point of contact for service enquiries
* Manage service requests, repair jobs, freight bookings and reporting
* Process documentation including timesheets, pre‐startsand job sheets
* Coordinate purchase orders, supplier invoices and procurement tasks
* Arrange training, medicals, travel, accommodation and site access
* Manage inventory allocation, stock levels and stocktakes
* Support HSE and HR with compliance‐related tasks
* Maintain service, repair and fleet maintenance records
* Update customers on repair progress and maintain customer portals
* Manage open job cards, job costing, invoicing and revenue forecasting support
* Carry out reception duties and maintain personnel rosters
* Organise digital and physical filing systems
* Support compliance registers, policy updates and general reporting requirements
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar administrative or service‐based role
* Strong attention to detail and proactive approach
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Strong organisation, multitasking and time management abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable but not essential experience, includes working in rental, mining, construction or similar industries and experience using Insphire.
