This is a unique state-wide role offering the opportunity to influence service development, contribute to innovative clinical practice, lead therapeutic interventions, and help shape the future of eating disorder treatment across Metro North Health.
You will report operationally to the QuEDS Team Manager (Treatment Stream) and professionally to the Occupational Therapy Professional Leader, Metro North Mental Health – RBWH.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
* Deliver evidence based therapeutic interventions for consumers with eating disorders (e.g. CBT-E, MANTRA, CBT-AR)
* Undertake high-level occupational therapy assessments and intervention to contribute to care coordination utilising well established clinical protocols, including current OT Models of Practice and a Recovery Framework.
* Develop, deliver and evaluate education and skills-based training for carers and families of patients with eating disorders.
