Role Responsibilities
* In conjunction with the Practice Manager, provide effective management, direction and delivery of quality service to Doctors and patients
* Assist with managing patient feedback and complaints
* Maintain effective management of receipts, allocations and sending of all patient and centre correspondence
* Provide direction and support to team members, maintaining a high level of moral and engagement
* Encourage cohesive relationships between the administrative and nursing teams
* Assist with rostering and timesheet approvals as required
* In the absence of the Practice Manager, maintain operational efficiency within the practice
* Assist with reviewing and managing short term and long-term Debtors as required

About you
* Demonstrated experience working in general practice as a receptionist/administrator
* Prior experience in Medicare processes and applications is advantageous
* Experience using Best Practice Medical Software is preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
* Exceptional time management skills with sound decision making under pressure
* A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
