About the Position:
We're on the lookout for enthusiastic Residential Youth Workers across Northern, Western, and Southern Adelaide. As a Youth Worker, you'll have the privilege of working with resilient young individuals who have experienced trauma and neglect. Your role will be crucial in providing a safe and nurturing home environment, supporting them in their day-to-day lives, teaching practical and social skills, and being a role model in preparing them for adulthood.
About You:
* Has a minimum of 6 months experience in Residential Youth Services
* Demonstrates experience in supporting challenging behaviours
* Holds a certificate IV in Youth Work, Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Community Services, or equivalent (or actively working towards it)
* Possesses South Australian drivers license (P2) or higher
* Holds a Working With Children Check
* Is willing to obtain:
o Child Safe Environments (Through Their Eyes) Certificate
o A current suitable Psychological Assessment
o Current First Aid & CPR certificate
