We are seeking an experienced Physical Security Systems Engineer to join our technical support team, specialising in Honeywell security solutions including EBI Access Control, DVM Video Management, and integrated security platforms.
This is a hands-on technical role supporting enterprise-level physical security infrastructure, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and experience with Honeywell security platforms.
What You'll Do
* Configure and troubleshoot Honeywell DVM video management systems
* Support and maintain Honeywell EBI Access Control applications and integrations
* Manage integration with Traka Locker Management and HID Quantum Safe systems
* Handle Level 2 incidents and provide advanced troubleshooting support
* Support application upgrades, database maintenance, and server migrations
* Test, program, and configure access control and digital video surveillance systems
* Engage with customers and field technicians for system support
* Conduct configuration reviews to ensure optimal system performance
* Work on proof-of-concepts for new solution integrations
* Follow ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management
Essential Skills & Experience
Domain Expertise:
* 3-6 years hands-on experience with physical security systems
* Honeywell EBI (Access Control) - highly preferred
* Honeywell DVM (Video Management) experience
* Traka Locker Management system knowledge - preferred
* HID Quantum Safe familiarity
Technical Skills:
* Strong understanding of ITIL processes and methodologies
* Windows Server Administration experience
* SQL Administration and database management
* IP Camera systems and security device troubleshooting
* Access control hardware and system configuration
* Networking fundamentals and concepts
* Basic cloud technologies knowledge
* DevOps concepts understanding
Additional Requirements:
* Experience supporting application and database upgrades
* Server migration project experience
* Agile methodology exposure
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Flexibility to work shifts (24/7 rotation as required)
* Availability for weekend support for planned activities
Desirable Skills:
