Job Description
As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you will have close working relationships with patients, clinicians and other support staff and report to the Practice Manager.
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer care. Other responsibilities include:
* Assist our Clinicians in providing high-quality dental care to patients.
* Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
* Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
* Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience.
* Reception duties - meeting & greeting patients, general and booking enquiries, record keeping, payment & insurance processing.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist is preferred, but not essential.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
