The Role Reporting to an Engineering Manager, the Quality Assistance Analyst plays a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, ensuring product releases meet both functional and nonfunctional requirements and align with high quality standards. This role combines hands-on testing, product knowledge and quality advocacy. You will work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers and other QA professionals to ensure: Requirements are clearly captured and traceable Quality outcomes are planned from the outset Manual and automated testing is executed accurately and efficiently Releases are monitored for potential adverse impacts Key responsibilities include: Acting as an ambassador for quality practices within the team, targeting zero-defect delivery Contributing to analysis and planning discussions to ensure quality is built in early Writing and executing detailed test plans Identifying gaps in manual testing and assisting with automation uplift initiatives Monitoring and improving team quality metrics Supporting the development of standards and best practices across engineering Staying current with QA tools, trends and technologies This is more than a traditional testing role. It’s about influencing how quality is embedded across the development lifecycle. Your Profile We are seeking a mid-level QA professional who is confident operating within an Agile product team environment. You will bring: 2 years' experience in Quality Engineering, QA or Quality Assistance Strong analytical skills with a mindset that challenges assumptions Solid experience writing and executing test plans Exposure to automation tools and frameworks Clear written and verbal communication skills Strong planning and organisational capability This role is suited to someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and wants to help shape quality practices, not just execute test cases.
