The CSI-IPT Opportunity
Saab Australia participates in the Combat Systems Integration – Integrated Project Team (CSI-IPT) Collaboration Agreement. This collaborative enterprise organisation executes scopes of work across Hobart Class Destroyer and Hunter Class Frigate programs.
The CSI-IPT is built with personnel from industry participants and the Commonwealth of Australia. It works across multiple programs to leverage synergies between platforms.
The Role
As a member of the DDG Systems Engineering, Integration and Test team, you will contribute to guided-missile destroyer requirements baseline development and successful delivery of updated DDG specifications.
You will:
* Contribute to and execute Combat System Systems Engineering activities supporting requirements analysis, architecture definition, and subsystem development.
* Develop, maintain, and update system functional and non-functional requirements and design artefacts.
* Prepare for and support major program milestones like design reviews, test readiness, and system readiness reviews.
* Develop and prosecute approved engineering changes.
* Interact with specialty engineering disciplines for design assurance and holistic system compliance.

About You
Key skills and experience include:
* Systems engineering lifecycle, methods, tools, and techniques.
* Working in an engineering project environment, preferably within the defence industry.
* Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partnering organisations.
* Development methodologies for complex modern systems using documented processes.
* Desirable:
* Integration, test, and evaluation activities on naval platforms or complex military systems.
* Combat System requirements within a maritime context.
* Knowledge or understanding in C4ISREW or Combat System Warfare Domains.
Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level is required.
