The Opportunity
Lindsay Gardens Retirement Living is situated on over 7 acres of landscaped grounds and gardens in the leafy suburb of Buderim. Working closely with a small team of hospitality staff, you will prepare, cook, and present daily meal services in our community. Your ability to create a positive rapport with residents will be essential to ensure they are delighted with each meal service. As a hands-on Chef, you should have experience in volume catering with high standards of meal presentation.
Position Details
This is a permanent part-time position working every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Penalty rates apply for both shifts!
What We Offer
$30.70/hr plus relevant award entitlements, including penalty rates, overtime, allowances, and superannuation (earn 175% penalty rates on Sunday shifts!)

Key Responsibilities
Ensure quality meal services for residents and visitors
Prepare, cook, and present meals with attention to detail
Monitor food safety and ensure compliance with OH&S standards
Manage stock, including ordering, rotation, and stocktakes
Maintain kitchen equipment
Collaborate with Food & Beverage or Kitchen staff for smooth operations
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in catering, kitchen, or hospitality roles
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (required)
Friendly, warm personality with a passion for food and teamwork
Current Police Check (we can assist with this)
Minimum of two COVID-19 vaccinations
