Job Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Operations Technical Officer to provide technical support to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on construction and maintenance across the transmission/distribution network.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to the team by being the central point for construction and maintenance advice
* Conduct training courses and assess on-site training to support team capability and compliance
* Prepare clear technical reports and procedures and assist leaders with incident investigations
* Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date registers for portable operational plant, tools, and equipment
Requirements:
* Must possess current trade qualifications – current Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Cable Jointing and/or Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or Electrical Workers Licence
* Preferably at least 6+ years specialist technical experience in networks construction, maintenance and operations field practices and procedures
* Application of trade and post trade skills and competencies to suit local business requirements
* Sound communications skills, both written and verbal that enable effective interaction between key stakeholders
* Specialist technical experience and demonstrated knowledge in transmission and / or distribution network investigating, evaluating, and reporting
