We’re a friendly, busy family of four on the Central Coast with two young daughters. With both parents working, we’re looking for a warm, reliable and organised person to become part of our household – someone who can help keep things running smoothly at home while also lending a hand with the kids in the afternoons.

What the Role Involves
Housekeeping
• General cleaning – vacuuming, mopping, dusting, tidying up
• Laundry – washing, hanging out, folding and putting away
• Kitchen upkeep – dishes, wiping down benches, keeping things tidy
• Bed making and linen changes
• Keeping the kids’ rooms and play areas organised
• Light meal prep, packing school lunches, and getting dinner started when needed
• Dinner preparation – getting meals prepped or started so the family can sit down together in the evening
• Occasional household errands – grocery run, dry cleaning pickup, etc.
Kids Support (Afternoons)
• School pickup and drop-off to after-school activities (e.g. dance, sport)
• Supervising the girls at home until Mum or Dad get back
• Helping with afternoon snacks and homework
• Keeping the afternoon routine fun, safe and on track
• Being a positive, caring presence the kids can trust and enjoy spending time with
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
• A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) – or willingness to get one straight away
• A current National Police Check – or willingness to obtain
• A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable car
• Experience with housekeeping, cleaning or domestic work
• Experience with children – whether as a parent, carer, nanny or in childcare
• A high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
• Reliability, punctuality and honest communication
• Australian work rights
Bonus points if you have:
• A current First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
• Experience in a similar family housekeeping/childcare role
• References from families you’ve worked with before
• A genuine love for working with kids
