We are seeking experienced Business Analysts / Solution Architects to support a large-scale standardisation initiative across a portfolio of aged care and community facilities. This role will focus on developing a standardised technology hardware blueprint across multiple sites, creating a consistent and repeatable baseline for core building technologies including telephony, CCTV, networking, access control, and related infrastructure. Currently, technology environments vary significantly site by site. This program aims to bring consistency, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the experience for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Objectives
* Establish a standardised technology blueprint across facilities
* Improve consistency and reduce site-by-site variation
* Eliminate duplication and ad hoc decision-making
* Simplify procurement, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
* Enhance safety, reliability, and user experience across environments
Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Current State Assessment (Brownfield)
* Assess existing site environments, including infrastructure, integrations, and constraints
* Identify risks, gaps, and technical debt
* Establish a clear and reliable baseline across multiple facilities
Service & Requirements Definition
* Engage stakeholders to understand aged care workflows and operational needs
* Define scope and document functional and non-functional requirements
* Translate business needs into structured, actionable outputs
Target State & Solution Design
* Define future-state technology architecture and standards
* Align solutions with enterprise architecture principles and patterns
* Incorporate non-functional requirements such as security, resilience, and reliability
Options Analysis & Delivery Planning
* Evaluate solution options, including phased or staged migration approaches
* Develop delivery roadmaps with clear timelines, dependencies, and milestones
* Provide cost, risk, and benefit analysis to support decision-making
Governance & Decision Support
* Maintain traceability across requirements, decisions, and deliverables
* Manage risks, assumptions, and dependencies
* Produce high-quality artefacts for governance forums and steering committees
Compliance & Assurance
* Translate regulatory and organisational obligations into clear requirements
* Embed compliance controls into solution design and delivery
* Ensure documentation supports auditability and ongoing compliance
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Solution Architect in infrastructure or technology transformation programs
* Strong background in brownfield environments and current-state assessments
* Experience working across building technologies (e.g. CCTV, telephony, networking, access control)
* Ability to define enterprise-level standards and technology blueprints
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in complex operational environments
* Experience in aged care, healthcare, or multi-site environments (highly desirable)
* Excellent documentation and communication skills
