We\u2019re seeking a trade qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team based in our Argyle Workshop. Working Monday to Friday, it is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs. What\u2019s The Role 
We\u2019re seeking a trade qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team based in our Argyle Workshop. Working Monday to Friday, it is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs. 
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To 
- Safe Always 0 Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture. 
- Vehicle Maintenance & Repair - Repairing, replacing, and diagnosing issues across a variety of fleet vehicles (prime movers, rigids, trailers); Performing major repairs including rebuilds, midlifes, and brake/bearing overhauls; Servicing vehicles according to the company schedule. 
- Documentation & Compliance - Accurately completing maintenance and repair documentation. 
- Breakdown and Emergency Support - Attending to vehicle breakdowns as part of a roster 
What You\u2019ll Bring: 
- Mechanical Trade qualification 
- Demonstrated experience post apprenticeship 
- Proven competence in repairs and overhauls 
- Experience working on prime movers or heavy vehicle trailers is highly valued 
- Effective diagnostic skills on Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, BPW 
- Own basic tools (specialist tools are provided) (tool allowance paid) 
- Basic computer skills 
- Clear and concise communication skills 
- Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic
