Supporting Our Residents
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Aged Care Food Service Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service to our residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer service to residents during meal times by greeting them warmly, listening actively and responding promptly to their needs.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by adhering to our strict health and safety protocols and procedures.
* Work collaboratively with the culinary team to prepare and present nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
* Assist with setting up and cleaning down after meals, including washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors and replenishing supplies as needed.
* Provide general support to the food services team as required, including covering for absent colleagues and assisting with special events and activities.
