About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Australia West business to manage, through the coordination of internal and some external specialists, proposals, studies and tenders through relevant Gate approvals, including supporting internal governance, tender handovers and client feedback for unsuccessful tenders. In addition, you will manage development projects for new services, from scoping and design to development of appropriate business plans and support the regional New Work Manager with development of prospect value propositions, project delivery models and partner selections.
Additionally, you will:
* Support, from a commercial aspect, new services development from scoping and design to development of appropriate business plans
* Understand corporate approval and governance processes and apply astute commercial principles
* Manage coordination of internal and some external specialists and other stakeholders for proposal and tender processes
* Manage new services development from scoping and design to development of appropriate business plans
* Support the development of prospect value propositions, project delivery models and partner selections
* Develop all supporting documentation associated with Gate approvals
About You
Ideally, you will have completed a tertiary degree in Mining or a related Engineering discipline and possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in mining or a mining‐related field with experience in development of projects from concept to contract execution. Demonstrated experience in project management, mining engineering, technical services and proposal, study or tender management is preferred.
You will have the ability to influence multiple parties to achieve required deliverables and approvals in tight timeframes while ensuring focus on agreed strategies and value propositions are maintained. You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, strong negotiation skills and possess the ability to influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes. In addition, you will have advanced skills in MS Office365 and MSProjects and a sound understanding of various mine planning software packages and CATS estimating or similar software packages.
