About the Role
As Construction Manager, you will oversee the owner's team and provide solid leadership to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of the project. You will coordinate daily contractor performance across civil, electrical, mechanical, and balance-of-plant packages, ensuring alignment with project standards and sustainability commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of on-site construction activities.
- Drive a safety-first culture and uphold WHS standards.
- Supervise the owner's team to ensure effective contractor oversight.
- Manage daily contractor performance to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee progress across multiple disciplines: civil, electrical, and mechanical.
- Monitor quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and manage risks, escalating as required.
- Foster collaborative relationships with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Support commissioning and seamless project handover to operations.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager (or senior equivalent) on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to solar farm construction highly regarded; multidisciplinary background across civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines essential.
- Strong record of managing contractors in complex, large-scale, remote, or FIFO environments.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources.
