Job Title: Senior Personal Tax Manager

We are delighted to be working with a leading firm in Tamworth who are looking to add an ambitious and driven Senior Personal Tax Manager or Manager to their team.
The successful individual will work closely with the Partners to ensure the efficient provision of a range of technical services to a variety of prestigious clients based across the region.
As part of the firm's personal tax team, you will form an integral part of our compliance and advisory capacity. You will have responsibility for managing your own client portfolio, overseeing tax seniors and trainees within the team.
Our ideal candidate may be ATT or CTA Qualified and will have a wealth of experience in Personal Tax.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Manage tax compliance processes for a portfolio of clients to ensure timely filing of tax returns and advising clients on tax payments.
* Involvement with various tax advisory projects including IHT planning, share incentive schemes, business acquisitions and sales.
* Review personal tax returns and computations.
* Review trust tax returns and capital gains tax returns.
* Prepare more complex tax computations and returns.
* Deal with tax enquiries.
* Conduct technical research.
* Delegate work to the tax team and mentor trainees.
* Responsible for commercial delivery of tax work, including fee quotes and monitoring recoveries.
* Prepare corporation tax computations for larger group company clients and more complex standalone company clients.
* Input into development of corporation tax processes and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* ATT Qualified / CTA Qualified.
* Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment is essential.
