No clearance required; however, experience within critical infrastructure or operational technology environments is highly regarded. Experience in enterprise solution architecture, IT/OT integration, real-time operational systems, and complex technology transformation programs.
We are seeking an experiencedSolution Architectto play a key role in a large-scale emergency energy capability program supporting critical electricity network operations. This program will deliver integrated operational, digital, and data capabilities designed to strengthen emergency response readiness, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience across the energy network.
Responsibilities
* Defining end-to-end solution architecture aligned to business and operational requirements
* Establishing architectural principles, non-functional requirements, and solution guardrails
* Designing integration approaches across enterprise, operational, and control systems
* Producing architecture artefacts aligned to governance and design authority standards
* Supporting procurement activities including technical evaluation and vendor engagement
* Collaborating with stakeholders to define support models, ownership, and operational boundaries
* Providing architecture guidance to support future delivery and implementation phases
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect within large and complex environments
* Robust understanding of enterprise integration and IT/OT architecture patterns
* Experience working within critical infrastructure, utilities, energy, or real-time operational environments
* Knowledge of cybersecurity, resilience, and high-availability solution design principles
* Experience producing architecture artefacts and supporting governance processes
* Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
* Experience supporting procurement processes and vendor solution assessments highly regarded
