About the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis to support Rox's transition from explorer to developer and producer. This role provides critical insights into financial performance, ensures compliance, and supports decision‑making through robust analysis and forecasting.
What you'll do
* Run month‑end procedures required in the Pronto accounting system and reconcile general ledger and project subledgers.
* Prepare month‑end reports (management, balance sheet, P&L, and cashflow).
* Prepare taxation returns (Income Tax, FBT, Payroll Tax & BAS).
* Assist with quarterly, half‑year & full‑year reporting.
* Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
* Assist with project cost tracking and capital expenditure reporting.
* Manage fortnightly accounts payable process.
* Manage monthly payroll & reconcile employee entitlements.
About You
* Technical accounting, taxation, and financial principles and reporting knowledge.
* Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong problem‑solving skill, analysis techniques, and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related discipline.
* CA / CPA accreditation or working toward.
* 2+ years' experience in an accounting role.
