Timbarra P–9 College is seeking an enthusiastic Instrumental Guitar / Bass Teacher to support our expanding Years 7 to 9 music program beginning Term 1, 2026. This position is 0.2 FTE with versatile day arrangements available. The successful applicant will deliver high-quality small-group lessons, foster student engagement, and contribute to contemporary band performance within our Music Academy.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging small‑group guitar / bass instruction across Years 7 to 9
Support contemporary pedagogy aligned with Musical Futures principles
Direct and rehearse at least one contemporary ensemble
Collaborate with the Music Coordinator and instrumental team
Contribute to school performances, showcase events, and Academy band culture
Required Skills and Attributes
Robust contemporary guitar / bass performance and teaching skills
Excellent communication and behaviour management strategies
Capacity to differentiate for mixed‑ability groups
