Exercise Physiologist Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of evidence-based programs that enhance mobility, independence, and wellbeing for older adults across our Care Communities. This newly established role offers the opportunity to combine clinical expertise, leadership, and service innovation in a supportive environment.
* The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive assessments and tailored exercise interventions for older adults, support falls prevention, pain management, and restorative care initiatives, mentor and supervise junior staff members, and drive service development and quality improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality exercise programs that meet the needs of older adults
* Develop and implement effective assessment and intervention strategies
* Mentor and supervise junior staff members to ensure consistent delivery of services
* Drive service development and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve person-centred outcomes
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or equivalent
* Full membership with ESSA
* Broad clinical experience, ideally in aged care or older adult rehabilitation
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Developed knowledge of aged care standards, falls prevention, and rehabilitation
