About the Company
Edwards Group is a South Australia family owned and operated tourism company with their head office in Mawson Lakes. They are SA’s second largest operator of caravan parks, residential parks and lifestyle villages, and offer specialist building services for parks and villages for the lifestyle industry as Destination Homes Australia.
About the Role
As the Finance and Contracts Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance functions across the group and the contracts administration duties for their specialist builder. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with Destination Homes and interact with the on-site team working in parks and villages whilst maintaining financial data entry and reporting for eight separate entities ensuring accuracy and efficiency requirements are consistently met. This is a newly created permanent, full-time position.
Duties
4. Bookkeeper tasks across eight entities
5. Bank account and credit card reconciliation
6. Accounts payable and invoice processing
7. Preparation and process weekly payroll
8. Manage accounts email inbox and queries from parks or suppliers
9. Maintain supplier records
10. Daily and weekly account balancing for six different accommodation properties for EFTPOS, direct credit and cash payments
11. Issue build contracts to clients and raise and send purchase orders
12. Qualify Estimation
13. Reconcile and authorise invoice payments
Skills & Experience
14. Experience using MYOB Account Right
15. Recent success in a similar role
16. BAS preparation (preferred)
17. Proficient with MS Office
18. Financial analysis and bookkeeping experience
19. Strong attention to detail
20. Strong customer service skills
