If so read on Commissioning Manager – Transformer Overhaul Project Location: Flexible / Site Visits to regional, NSW (2 weeks on site/month) Contract Type: 12-Month Initial Contract Industry: Power Generation Start Date: ASAP Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead and coordinate the commissioning phase of a major transformer overhaul project within the power generation sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong electrical engineering background and hands-on experience in transformer systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all aspects of transformer commissioning activities. Coordinate with engineering teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct regular site visits (approximately 2 weeks per month) to support on-site activities. Review and approve commissioning documentation, procedures, and test plans. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout the commissioning process. Monitor progress against schedule and report to senior project leadership. Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred Proven experience commissioning and overhauling transformers. Background in power generation or high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Willingness and ability to travel to site in regional south NSW for up to 2 weeks each month.
