Join Centennial as a Mine Mechanical Superintendent, leading mechanical engineering operations at their Western Region site.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant engineering practices.

What you’ll be doing
* Act as the Mechanical Engineering Manager as defined in the Coal Mine Health & Safety Act and Regulation
* Set standards of engineering practice and provide high‑level technical expertise
* Ensure mechanical tradesmen and coordinators have the skills and direction to achieve production and maintenance goals
* Implement Mine Safety and Environmental Management Systems
* Manage statutory compliance and develop engineering standards
* Develop and review equipment KPIs, performance criteria, and reporting systems
* Mentor tradespersons and support mine‑wide engineering improvements
* Prepare business plans and notifications in line with guidelines
What we’re looking for
* Advanced Diploma of Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Project Management
