This is a permanent part‐time (0.16 FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026
The School
Dumbleyung Primary School is a small, community‐oriented school with 60 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 (K‐6). Students and staff are well‐known to each other and share a sense of belonging and pride in their school.

The Role
The Cleaner – Working Alone will maintain a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring school facilities are cleaned and maintained in accordance with Department procedure to provide a visually pleasing and safe learning environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include:
* Organise and order stock and equipment.
* Manage hazardous materials and maintain the Material Safety Data Sheet.
* Carry out three‐hour cleaning allocations on Thursdays and Fridays (Friday allocation may be negotiated to an alternative day, provided completion before the start of the school week).
* Work as a team with school staff including the gardener and manage staff performance in consultation with the Manager Corporate Services.
The successful applicant should ideally have strong interpersonal and team motivational skills and be happy to receive and carry out instructions as required.
