About the Role
The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing construction operations, coordinating project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The role will involve managing projects including service station developments, civil infrastructure works, and residential housing projects, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee construction projects from planning through to completion
* Lead project delivery across service stations, civil construction, and residential housing projects
* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
* Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise
* Maintain strong safety and compliance standards across all sites
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal management teams
* Review construction programs and manage resource allocation
* Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in construction management or a similar role
* Experience in civil construction, commercial developments, and residential housing projects
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project delivery
* Proven experience managing construction teams and subcontractors
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Knowledge of WHS requirements and construction compliance
Qualifications
* Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
