About Our Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our National Commercial Estimation Hub located at the northern end of the Gold Coast. The Commercial Estimator supports and coordinates with our customers who are contract administrators, site supervisors and managers, builders, developers, subcontractors and architects. The core focus of this role is interpreting building plans (plan take off and specification review), preparing tenders, data entry site measure information, producing customer quotes, and most importantly converting quotes into orders.
About You
We're looking to leverage your experience and understanding of the commercial building industry, along with your knowledge in building specifications, reading and interpreting construction drawings and architectural plans and deciphering what is required to correctly estimate and quote. You will be a well organised team player who enjoys working within a collaborative team, who is pragmatic in your approach to providing quality customer service and who appreciates the importance of getting the details right.
You Will Have
* Window estimating or estimating experience in the commercial field is essential
* Experience and competence in utilising V6 software is essential
* Drafting knowledge is preferred
* Ability to read building plans and architectural drawings to perform take-offs
